Contractor Relationship
1. Contractors shall be referred to clients for interviews only on job openings for which at least verbal authority has been given by the employer.
2. Representations made to contractors about the duties, probable length of the assignment, hours and hourly rates of prospective assignments shall be in conformance with the best knowledge of the personnel consultant.
3. Precaution shall be taken against referring any contractor to clients who are known to engage in illegal, or any other questionable business practices.
4. Information about a contractor will be used only for the purposes of finding an assignment for the contractor. Confidential information shall be treated accordingly. All reasonable steps will be taken not to jeopardise any current employment of a contractor.
5. To extend professional service to all qualified contractors regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex, income level, physical handicap or marital status.
6. No fees shall be charged to contractors for registration or placement.
7. TO ENSURE SATISFACTION THE CONTRACTOR/APPLICANT IS TO BE ADVISED OF AND GIVEN THEIR APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE SUBMISSION OF THEIR RESUME TO THE CLIENT. IN INSTANCES WHERE THE CONTRACTOR/APPLICANT CANNOT BE CONTACTED SUCH MUST BE NOTED ON THE RESUME WHEN SENT TO THE CLIENT.
